第十四届国际英文短篇小说交流会

邀请你参加2016年将在上海华东师大举行的第十四届国际英文短篇小说交流会。

这是用英文写短篇故事的作家们的盛会，已经举行了十三届了，每次在不同的国家举行。下一届将在中国上海开第十四届会议，美国的阿肯色州大文学系的系主任，给我寄来了邀请函，并同时询问我，在我所在的文学组织里，是否还有作家们感兴趣参加此会。

基本上程序是这样的：你需要上交一篇英文的短篇小说给阿肯色州大文学系的系主任Maurice A. Lee, 你可以直接给主任寄去，也可以伊妹儿给我，经我推荐转给他，都可以。他们审核过关之后，就会给你发邀请信，获得邀请信的同时，可以获得他们机构给这次活动的一些经费，大约可以报销掉所有在上海会议期间的茶饭钱以及所有的资料的费用。

会议时间是2016 年7月13号至16号。会议的主题是：东方与西方，短篇小说汇。

预计有不少来自各国的作家和学者参会。目前参会的著名作家包括任碧莲，巴拉蒂慕克吉，克拉克布莱斯，罗伯特·奥伦·巴特勒，和Li Yuyun

提交英文小说需在2015年12月1日前到审核委员会的邮箱里。

有英文小说的文轩作者，可把英文的短篇小说（应该是从没发表过的）直接寄：mauricel@uca.edu或寄给我：beautyinautumn@gmail.com 我会推荐给系主任，再由他们审核通过。

The 14th International Conference on the Short Story in English will take place from 13 to 16 July 2016 at East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, with the theme: "Influence and Confluence in the Short Story: West and East".

Submission Guidelines

Suggested theme: The Short Story – Influence and Confluence, East and West

• Word count: 2,000 to 3,000 words. Times Roman 12 pt. 1 inch margins.
• Short stories in English or English translation. Two stories maximum.
• Stories must not bear any identifying information and must be as an attachment in .doc, .rtf 
• to an email to MauriceL[at]uca[dot]edu. (mauricel@uca.edu) 
• Subject of the email: Short Story Contest.
• Include name, contact details and title of work in the body of the email. If translated, name of 
• translator must be indicated in the body of the email only.
• Entries must not have been previously published online (includes personal blogs, etc.) or in print.
