A Day of Brahman

Hopping onto Equinox

I watch the days and nights

Chasing one another’s tails

Now the day wanes

Now the night waxes

And seasons

And years

And whole history

Never ending revolution

Cycles within cycles

Comes and goes around

Along the ethereal axis

Around the central sun

Unseen but beyond real

Keep us bound

Perching on the rim of wheel

I ponder in wonder

Unrelenting curiosity

I ask again and again

Whence do I come

Whence do I go

Nostalgia arises

Longing for eternal home

Yet we keep spinning

Over realms familiar and new

Never a moment dull

Never a brief repose

No matter how you resist

Journeys

Experiences

Vast and extensive

Ever expanding

Ever new

Yet reminiscent

Of moments in the past

Far back, back…

Long lost times

Forgotten by mysterious means

Crawl back unexpected

Here and there

A moment, a thought, a feeling

A glance, a smell, a song

Broken dots scattered around

Speaking of a riddle one never found

Always the same longing

Always the same phobia

Changed is the clothings

The spark in the eyes the same

Will come one day

However long it takes

The wheel runs brokenly tired

Everything grinds to a halt

Then curtain will be drawn

Enwrapped in velvety darkness

Slumber in oblivion for an eon

And again dawn

We start the day anew

Bustling for another eon
