Whiteface (1483m)may have made its name in winter—it has the highest vertical drop in the east, after all—but it does summer pretty well, too. Standing on its summit, you'll gaze out at the Adirondack Park. Six million acres—more than Yellowstone and Yosemite combined—thick with white pines and glistening with crystalline lakes and meandering trout streams. Around you stand New York's tallest peaks. To the east, Lake Champlain and Vermont's Green Mountains, and below, the towns of Wilmington and Lake Placid, the Olympic Village.

白脸山位于纽约州，the towns of Wilmington and Lake Placid, the Olympic Village.是两届冬奥会的举办地。白脸山是纽约州自然生态公园 Adirondack Park46座山峰中一座，高度排在第五位。离蒙特利尔两小时车程。由于美国消费税低，物价便宜，现在加拿大新的过境免税额48小时提高到800加元。周末加拿大人成群结队去美国度假购物。
